Visitors can testify here about the museum-character of the town, not to mention the abundance of hotels and great variety of restaurants. The fabulous island of Hvar and the tranquil Solta Island can be easily accessed from the town. The smooth, 200 meters long “sandy tongue” of Brac certainly represents the most spectacular beach of the Adriatic Sea and an irresistible paradise for surfing. The marvelous Blue Cave can be found near the silent island of Vis, a place rich in historical monuments.
