The main attraction of this region is the harmony between the rich vegetation of the nature and the charm of the seaside – Korcula, the birthplace of Marko Polo, rich in forests and Lastovo, being famous for its living world under the sea. We can find caves, diving places, vineyards and olive groves here. All this accompanied with the well-known Dalmatian sunshine. We can easily withdraw from the swarming of the coast among the silent medieval town-walls and taste the local specialties and quality wines in any of the atmospheric taverns here. It would also be a sin not to taste the brilliant trout specialties at the delta of river Neretva.
