Smokvica is a charming small village in the Gulf of Kvarner. It is situated directly by the coast, approximately 8 km from the town of Novi Vinodolski in the direction of Senj. Today, Smokvica is an urban village, having 8 streets and according to a census survey only 48 residents. The town was named after a Mediterranean plant fig tree, one of the most typical plants of the Croatian coastal region. In this town, we have built the above-standard vacation resort of Smokvica Seagarden. The resort consists of four series of terrace houses and three individual villas, which have all been named after selected Mediterranean plants to be consistent with the name of the town.
